MISSION

In the Coffee Virus we connect with our guests through an ongoing dialogue about their lives and flavor preferences. Without any judgement or preconceived notions we investigate how we can serve them in the best way accordingly.

VISION

 

We believe that making that positive connection with others is one of the pillars of humanity. We also believe that amazing coffee provides a direct pathway into the human heart. That’s why we want to get to know our guests and their preferences so that we can serve them coffee they love and connect with them. Just because the world will be a bit brighter afterwards.

We don’t pretent to have all the answers. How to brew the perfect sweet coffee for instance? As for now, we’re still investigating on how to do that. To help our guest in the best way possible and affirm the positive connection we so value, we are always trying to enlarge our knowledge further.

To make sure that our growing organization maintains those core values on every level we realize that we need people, not working for us, but rather with is. That’s why, within the social organization we’re currently building, we want happy co- workers who can thrive making use of their own unique specialities.

STRATEGY

MAKING FLAVORS ACCESSIBLE 

We love to invite our guests to think about their flavor preferences. Right now we divided our espresso coffee into three different flavors from which they can choose: sweet, bitter and sour. In the future we would like to extending the flavor experiment further and developing a personal taste profil for every regular guest.

CREATING A LAYED BACK ATMOSPHERE 

We don’t have any preconceived notion of what is acceptable in terms of flavor, rather we listen to the wishes of our guests. We want to be a welcoming living room for all. Because of this and because of our natural curiosity in people we create an environment where people feel at ease and can connect with one another.

ENLARGING OUR CURRENT KNOWLEDGE 

We want to become taste and service specialists, and to accomplice that we’re constantly looking for possibilities to learn more about our products and hospitality. Roasting our own coffee to gain more inside in that part of the proces for example, is one of our goals in the foreseeable future. Hiring research students to investigate how to best extract sweetness out of coffee beans could be a goal in the somewhat less foreseeable future.

MAINTAINING AND NOURISHING OUR CURRENT KNOWLEDGE 

We don’t want to grow for the sake of growing but because we believe that our Virus is important to spread. But, as we are growing, we wan’t all of our new colleagues to tap into the knowledge and experience we already have gathered throughout the years. Because of this we provide trainings about food, coffee and hospitality to maintain our core values in the day to day operations.

BUILDING A GROWING, SOCIAL ORGANIZATION 

We don’t believe in the old fashion division between employer and employee. We dream of a social organization where everybody has the chance to grow to a position best suitable to their qualities, has a say in the companies direction and share in the profit. Right now we are deploying our current staff over all the open positions in our growing organization and develop The Coffee Virus together into the amazing company of our dreams.
